Some of these keyword research tools are free to use all of the time (and no, I'm not covering the Google Adwords Keyword Planner, which is a popular one to start out with, but very limited in data provided), and others are free to use for a little while or certain amount until you need to upgrade.
All of them, however, provide interesting data we can use to make decisions and create content that can help us rank higher in the search engines.
