Lets discuss how to make passive income with $0 - and the truth about using your time to generate money online.
Here’s the first lesson on creating passive income: you will need SOME type of investment to get it started. You’re either investing your money to BUY your way to passive income, OR in this case, you’re investing your time.
When you’re using your TIME to create your own passive income sources, it’s also REALLY important to understand that if it were easy, EVERYONE would be doing it. In order to do well at this, you MUST be able to do your own research and understand that no one out there is going to go out of their way to make it happen for you - if you can’t figure out how to do something on your own, you won’t make it.
And with all of this, you’ll get paid in accordance to the level of service you provide. If you’re not adding value to another person, in some form or another - you won’t get paid, it’s that simple. Find out what your value proposition is, and make that VERY well known - because you won’t get something for nothing.
The first, obviously, is by starting this youtube channel.
You don’t need to be some creative genius to make youtube videos. And don’t give me the excuse that you don’t have a personality for youtube…I didn’t think I did, either. Plus my early videos were AWFUL…if you have fun doing it, by all means, go for it. Just make the types of videos you, yourself, would want to watch.
Secondly, in a addition to that, speaking of informational products, I later created two programs - one, how to grow your business as a real estate agent. And the second, how to grow a business on youtube.
The concept is pretty simple: why teach one person, at one time? It’s incredibly inefficient…when instead, I can record the information ONCE in a condensed form, and reach thousands of people in the same amount of time it takes to teach one? Informational courses do INSANELY well, and there’s a reason why everyone is doing them right now. They cost nothing to make, there’s no overhead, they can reach anyone on the planet, and as long as you put the customer first, give more information than they pay for, and are all around helpful - you can do decently well, and I’m sure some courses out there will have a fairly long lifespan is you make them as thorough as possible.
Third, some of you have probably noticed my amazon affiliate store where I link to the items I use for recording.
Amazon affiliates is absolutely the easiest thing for a beginner to implement, because it’s simple to sign up for, it’s easy to drive traffic to amazon, and you get paid anytime someone buys ANYTHING through your link.
The fourth way you could make passive income with $0 is through social media - like Facebook or Instagram.
If you have a hobby, or involved in something - I guarantee there are at least 10,000-,100,000 people out there who feel the same way. Use facebook and instagram to your advantage to grow a completely organic following around that - no paid promotion, no spending money on anything, do it all organically. That audience will be valuable in the event you decide to monetize in the future.
Fifth is running an AirBnb business
This is when you go to a property that’s on the market for rent, approach the owner, and explain that you’ll manage the airbnb for him for a percentage of the profits. That way, the home owner could make MORE money than if they rented the house out on a long term lease - the owner has no management at all - AND you can make a profit for doing the work and setting it up.
Besides that, you have the typical mentions of blogging…everyone says that, so I don’t want to be super cliche…or running affiliate marketing and driving traffic to someone else and getting paid for it…all of those are viable ways to make money, IF you’re willing to put in the time to learn and get good at it. This could be as simple as hosting a very inexpensive website, ranking topics on google, and organically growing it over time.
