Here is how to share a map or directions with someone via Google Maps:
Step 1: Open the Google Maps app, on your Android phone or tablet.
Step 2: Then search for a place. Or, find a place on the map, then touch and hold to drop a pin.
Step 3: Now at the bottom, tap on the place's name or address.
Step 4: Tap on Share. If you don't see the share icon, tap on More that appears as three dots, and then on Share.
